District Update 4/9/20

Good afternoon Clever Family:

This afternoon Governor Parson ordered all public and charter schools to remain closed through the remainder of the academic year.  Schools are to continue their current methods of remote learning until the end date previously set on their academic calendars.

Unfortunately, we will not be back together in the classroom this school year.  We will, however, continue to provide distance learning through Canvas and Seesaw.  We will also continue to offer Grab-N-Go lunches for those 18 and under.

This is a difficult time, but the health and safety of our whole community is the most important thing.  This decision affects us all, and our hearts are heavy as we relay this news. We know that together we will get through this.  While it seems like this is going to last forever, before you know it we will be walking back through the school doors and into the classrooms again.

We will be working internally, with DESE, and with other state and federal officials to get answers to all of the questions both you as patrons and we as a school district have as a result of this decision.  As soon as we have those answers they will be shared.

Stay strong.  Be safe.

Sincerely,

Mr. Benjy Fenske

Superintendent
